These terms govern use of officestock.co.za and purchases from Office Stock (Pty) Ltd, trading as Office Stock in South Africa. Contact: sales@officestock.co.za or +27 10 412 0170. Nothing limits a right that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA), Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA), Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA), or other applicable South African law.

Website use

You must use the website lawfully and provide accurate information. You are responsible for safeguarding account credentials and may not interfere with the website, introduce malicious code, or misuse its content.

Products and availability

We take reasonable care with descriptions, dimensions, finishes, colours and images. Screen settings, natural materials and manufacturing batches may cause minor variation. Confirm critical dimensions, access routes and compatibility before ordering. Stock and lead times may change, especially for customised, imported or made-to-order goods.

Prices, VAT and quotations

Prices are in South African rand. The product page, basket, checkout, quotation or invoice shows applicable VAT, delivery charges and the total before commitment. A clear pricing error does not oblige us to supply at the incorrect price; we will offer the correct price or cancel and refund payment. A written quotation is valid for its stated period and may contain additional lawful project terms.

Orders and payment

You can review and correct an online order before submitting it. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt, not acceptance. We accept an order when we confirm fulfilment or dispatch the goods. We may decline an order for stock, payment, fraud-prevention, obvious pricing, delivery or legal reasons and will refund amounts received for a declined order. Goods remain our property until paid in full, to the extent permitted by law.

Delivery

Delivery areas, estimates, charges, access requirements and inspection procedures appear in our Shipping Policy. Notify us about stairs, restricted access, loading rules or other site conditions. Assembly or installation is included only when expressly stated.

Cancellations, returns and warranties

Our Refund & Return Policy explains ECTA cooling-off rights and CPA remedies. Customised or made-to-order goods may be excluded from the ECTA cooling-off right, but non-excludable CPA quality and warranty protections remain.

Intellectual property

The website, branding, copy, photographs, graphics and software are owned by or licensed to Office Stock and protected by law. Reasonable extracts may be viewed or printed for personal or internal purchasing use, but may not be republished or commercially exploited without permission.

Liability

We remain responsible to the extent required by law. To the fullest lawful extent, we are not liable for indirect loss that was not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, unsafe goods where liability cannot be excluded, or another non-excludable remedy.

Electronic communications

Notices, invoices and records may be sent electronically to the details provided. Electronic records may satisfy legal writing requirements where permitted.

Disputes and law

South African law governs these terms. Contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. Consumers may also approach an applicable ombud, provincial consumer authority, the National Consumer Commission, or a court or tribunal with jurisdiction.
