These terms govern use of the Office Stock website and purchases from us. They must be read with the quotation or order confirmation and our Shipping & Delivery Policy, Refund & Return Policy and Privacy Policy.
Nothing in this policy limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA), the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA), the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA), or another applicable South African law.

We supply office furniture and related workplace products to consumers, businesses and organisations in South Africa. Additional supplier particulars appear on our quotations and tax invoices.
You must use this website lawfully and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential and for activity authorised through your account. You may not interfere with the website, introduce malicious code, scrape it in a manner that harms the service, or misuse its content.
We take reasonable care with descriptions, dimensions, finishes, colours and images. Screen settings, natural materials and manufacturing batches can cause minor variations. Measure the intended space, access routes, lifts and doorways before ordering. Availability and lead times may change, especially for imported, customised or made-to-order products.
Prices are shown in South African rand (ZAR). Pages may display VAT-inclusive and VAT-exclusive figures; the basket, checkout, quotation or invoice shows the applicable total, delivery charges and taxes before commitment. A clear pricing error does not oblige us to supply at the incorrect price. We will contact you to confirm the correct price or cancel and refund any payment.
A written quotation is valid for the period stated on it and may include product-specific, bulk-order, installation or project terms. If a quotation conflicts with these website terms, the quotation applies to that order to the extent of the conflict, subject to applicable law.
You can review and correct an online order before submitting it. An automated receipt acknowledges your request but does not by itself confirm acceptance. We accept an order when we issue written acceptance or dispatch the goods. We may decline an order for stock, pricing, payment, fraud-prevention, delivery or legal reasons and will refund any amount received for a declined order.
Payment must be made using an offered method. Payment providers may apply their own terms and security checks. Goods remain our property until paid for in full, while risk passes as provided in the delivery policy and applicable law.
Delivery areas, estimates, charges, access requirements and inspection procedures are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Tell us before delivery about stairs, restricted access, security procedures or other site conditions. Assembly or installation is included only when expressly stated.
Our Refund & Return Policy explains ECTA cooling-off rights, CPA remedies for defective or unsuitable goods, and the process for other return requests. Customised and made-to-order goods may be excluded from the ECTA cooling-off right, but their applicable CPA quality and warranty protections remain.
The website, branding, copy, photographs, graphics and software are owned by or licensed to Office Stock and protected by law. You may view and print reasonable extracts for personal or internal business purchasing, but may not republish or commercially exploit them without permission.
We are responsible for loss to the extent required by applicable law. To the fullest extent lawfully permitted, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made. Nothing excludes liability for gross negligence, fraud, wilful misconduct, unsafe goods where liability cannot be excluded, or any other liability or consumer remedy that the law does not allow us to limit.
We are not responsible for delay caused by events reasonably beyond our control, but we will communicate material delays and take reasonable steps to reduce their effect. Statutory cancellation and refund rights remain available where applicable.
You agree that notices, invoices and records may be sent electronically to the details you provide. Electronic communications and records may satisfy legal writing requirements where the law permits.
These terms are governed by South African law. Please first contact sales@officestock.co.za so we can try to resolve a concern. A consumer may also use an applicable ombud, provincial consumer authority, or the National Consumer Commission complaint process at thencc.org.za/complaints. Nothing prevents either party from approaching a court or tribunal with jurisdiction.
If part of these terms is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. We may update these terms prospectively; the version accepted when an order is placed will govern that order unless the parties lawfully agree otherwise.
